Founded in 2017, the Prep South Conference is an exemplary leader in prep basketball athletics, dedicated to developing student-athletes through the pursuit of excellence in the classroom, community and field of play. The conference’s growing presence as Florida’s elite prep basketball conference is made evident by its multitude of top tier programs participation in the Prep South Conference. Each Prep South Conference team will participate in 10 regular season conference games in the span of 4 months.

Comprised of 8 - 12 member prep institutions sharing a common geographical region and similar values and purposes, the Prep South Conference has more than 80 + student-athletes that will participate in the PSC. This has evolved into the conference’s “Who Got Next” mantra as part of a new strategic emphasis on becoming the premiere prep conference in the South for prep team’s national rankings and program/player recognition amongst college coaches. 

Comprised of 8-member prep institutions sharing a common geographical region will attract college coaches from around the country, by promoting diversity and mutual trust among our member programs. PSC will consist of 8 of the top programs competing for the annual PSC Championship each year and a National Championship in the coming years. There will be (2) regions where PSC games will be held “North Division and South Division”. New teams will be added as the Conference continues to grow throughout Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Texas, Arkansas, North Carolina, South Carolina geographical southern regions. 

Prep South Conference will run from October to December each year. After the final regular season game, the top 6 teams in each state Prep South Conference will be awarded seeding determined by the number of wins and losses for each team, playoffs will start January 12th and on the 13th of January the PSC Championship Game will be held to determine the winner. Single Elimination.
