Class of 2020 point guard Kadary Richmond tells Prep Circuit he is down to four schools in Oregon, Seton Hall, St. John’s and UConn. Richmond, who is headed to Brewster Academy (NH) and shined with Mass Rivals (MA) this past AAU season, has been pretty quiet with his recruitment up to this point. He breaks down his final four schools and his plan going forward with his recruitment.
Q: What do you like about Oregon?
A: “I like their culture and they take their time with their players and develop pros.”
Q: What stands out about Seton Hall?
A: “Seton Hall helped a fellow Brooklynite get to live out his dreams. They helped put him in a position to get to where he could succeed.”
Q: Why is St. John’s an intriguing option for you?
A: “St. John’s is intriguing because the coaching staff is full of energy and is determined to get the best out of their players to better their future.”
Q: Why did UConn make your final four schools?
A: "My UConn visit was well planned, the practice was great and the energy was very high."
Q: Do you have any visits set?
A: "I don't have any visit dates set right now."
Q: When do you plan on making your decision?
A: "I don't have any set dates in mind right now. I am keeping an open mind with the timing of my decision going forward."
