Class of 2021 guard Jalen Warley played with great pace and playmaking ability for the Westtown School. Warley is very crafty with the basketball and found ways to get into the lane and create. He is set to step into a much bigger role this year at the Westtown School. Warley added offers from UMass and La Salle after his performance this past weekend.
Blair Academy has quite the talent coming in with Kyle Cuffe. The class of 2022 guard showed off his athleticism in both games I watched on Sunday, but he impacted the game in more ways than just that. He showed a pretty consistent jump shot and defended at a high level. Kyle Cuffe is a name we should be hearing quite a lot the next couple of years.
Our Saviour Lutheran had a strong showing at the Mid-Atlantic Independent School Shootout and Dylan Wusu played a big role in their performance. Wusu was a force on offense with his physicality and athleticism. He was unstoppable around the basket and made shots as well. He plays Our Saviour Lutheran’s brand of basketball and does it well.
First Love Christian took a tough overtime loss to the Hill School, but they definitely had some positives that came from this game and one of them was class of 2020 guard Isaiah Wilson. Wilson was a pest defensively and controlled the tempo from start to finish. He played with some of the best energy that I saw all weekend and it resulted in him landing an offer from Georgetown.
