An In-Depth Look at Day 2 of the Adidas Gauntlet Dallas Qualifier

DALLAS, TX - Day 2 of The Adidas Gauntlet Qualifier Dallas was entertaining to watch. Here are some of the top performers below.

Tyler Simon | 6'4" 2021 PG | Basketball University

Simon is a smooth playmaking guard that always has his head up and knows how to find the open man. Simon has a chance to be a nationally ranked prospect if he continues to improve his game.

John Shanu II | 6'9" 2020 C | Basketball University
Shanu is an active big man that does all the dirty work on the interior. He is still a bit raw but he showcased the ability to rebound and block shots at an efficient rate.

Deuce Guidry | 5'6" 2020 PG | Team Harden
Guidry is a fast diminutive guard who has a tight handle and can maneuver past opposing players. Guidry also has a nice looking jumper and if you give him too much space, he will make you pay.

Ange Dibwa | 6'10' C | Urban DFW Elite

Dibwa is a physically imposing big man that can rebound and finish plays around the basket. Dibwa still has to improve his post game on the offensive end, but he has the physical gifts to be really good at the next level.

Both teams fought hard in this contest, but unfortunately, one team had to lose.  Basketball University players, John Shanu, Tyler Simon and Breon Thompson were the leading scorers for the Adidas Gold squad.

Breon Thompson | 6'6" SF | Basketball University

Thompson was very impressive attacking the basket in a win over Triumph. The talented wing was a mismatch nightmare for the opposing team and never took his foot off the pedal until the game was over
