Top Performers:

Kalu Anya

Kalu Anya is looking like one of the better long-term prospects in the northeast

Kalu Anya | 6’6 2022 F | Team Spartans

One of the better long-term prospects we saw in DC this weekend was Kalu Anya. At 6-foot-6, Anya is highly coordinated and athletic which make him adept at rebounding out of his area. He’s a workhorse with winning intangibles which were on display throughout his team’s championship run.

Supreme Cook | 6’8 2019 F/C | NJ Roadrunners

Supreme Cook controls the paint on both ends of the floor. He is a terrific post defender with long arms and big-time athleticism. Cook can be the fulcrum of an offense from the low or high post with his ability to finish inside and set up teammates when the help arrives.

Matt Curtis | 6’1 2022 G | Team Spartans

Matt Curtis was able to get a score whenever his team needed one. He shot the gap consistently on the defensive end which lead to easy points in transition, but was also tremendous at creating his own shot off the bounce in half-court offense.

DeMarr Langford | 6’4 2020 G | Mass Rivals

Aside from his physical tangibles as a strong 6-foot-4 guard, DeMarr Langford has the intangibles that coaches look for. He leads with his words as well as his actions.

Jordan Geronimo | 6’5 2020 F | Mass Rivals

Jordan Geronimo was able to make an impact on both ends of the floor with his unrelenting motor and unique athletic traits. Geronimo was a major factor on the glass and ran the floor with purpose in transition.

Cam Tongue | 6’6 2021 F | Mass Rivals

Cam Tongue stepped up and played some of his best ball when things got physical in the front court. He’s a strong kid who competes extremely hard and really makes his presence felt in the paint.

Carter Whitt | 6’3 2021 G | Team Loaded NC

Carter Whitt was unfazed by the constant pressure he dealt with throughout the tournament. He demonstrates exceptional feel and playmaking ability while on the ball. Whitt is also a solid rebounding guard who is more than capable of igniting a fast break.

Top Game: New World vs. Mass Rivals

This was definitely the closest and most competitive game on Championship Sunday. Corey Dyches and DeMarr Langford were two of the better athletes who matched up on the perimeter while Cam Tongue and Favour Aire battled it out in the paint. Speed mercahnt Chris Robinson was tremendous for Rivals with his ability to get into the paint and score at will. He was arguably the X-factor in his team's win.
