Q: You guys have had a pretty successful opening weekend here. What do you like about your team?
A: “I think this team could be really good with our athleticism, size, and length. It’s different and you don’t see a lot of teams do what we do on the floor. My goal on this team is to just be a leader and help the guys out. This is my last summer so I’m trying to go out with a bang.”
Q: How would you describe the way you play?
A: “I play with a high motor, a lot of energy and good defensively. I do everything I can to get my team to win.”
Q: Who’s been recruiting you the hardest?
A: “I’d say Oregon State, USC, and Pepperdine.”
Q: What do you like about Oregon State?
A: “It’s a winning environment, I like the coaches and how they have treated me. They do a good job texting with me so it’s like family.”
Q: What do you like about USC?
A: “I’m from Los Angeles so I’ve been familiar with the school. I went to a couple of games and I like their environment.”
Q: What are you looking to add to your game?
A: “I just want to keep improving my skills by becoming more of a guard.”
Q: What’s your goal on the Gauntlet this year?
A: “I just want to win some tournaments and try to win the whole thing. For myself, probably to become a five-star.”
Q: You emerged this high school season with Federal Way. What are people going to learn about you during this season?
A: “At Federal Way, I was usually more of a post player so I think people on the circuit are going to see me more as a guard and being out on the wing.”
